Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at Le Djoloff in Dakar. The hotel had a charming and quiet atmosphere while being close enough to interesting local sights. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasant experience. The rooftop restaurant was a highlight with delicious food and a great view. However, the price seemed a bit high compared to other accommodations I've experienced in Senegal.
This hotel is a lovely oasis in Dakar with clean and comfortable rooms, perfect for a short stay. The location is quite pleasant, providing an interesting view of local life. While the dining options were decent, they could use more variety at breakfast. The staff is friendly and helpful, but navigating transportation can be tricky and on the pricier side, especially when relying on their services.
I had a lovely week at this hotel during my seminar trip to Dakar. The rooftop was truly a highlight, comparable to the best views in NYC, and the place was spotlessly clean. However, the room size was a bit cramped, and the toilet design made things somewhat awkward. Overall, it’s a clean and well-maintained spot with great perks, but it has its downsides.
I had such a great stay at this boutique hotel in Dakar! The staff was youthful and incredibly helpful, truly going above and beyond to make my experience special. The atmosphere was charming and serene, with beautiful balconies to enjoy the surroundings. However, the internet could be better, and I experienced a concerning issue with my reservation. Overall, it was a lovely spot with some quirks.
My stay at Hotel Djoloff was truly delightful. The architecture and decor really reflect the local spirit, and I was particularly fond of the ocean view from the roof terrace. The staff was warm and accommodating, but I did face a couple of challenges with the airport transfer pricing and Wi-Fi connectivity. Overall, it's an excellent choice for anyone visiting Dakar, but just be aware of potential inconsistencies in service.
